Our Pig Day Out has been rebooked! It is too cold and wet at the farm this time of year so we have secured Memo Music Hall in St Kilda from 12pm – 6pm Sunday August 7th.

Our events team has assembled some of Victoria’s best tribute and cabaret acts to ensure there is something for everyone.

  • McNamarr Project – Saluting Kings of Soul (5pm)
  • Eugene Hamilton & The Money –  The Sultan of Smooth and his band croon tunes to the grove (3.30pm).
  • Shed Zeppelin III – Unplugged and Unleashed (2pm)
  • Audrey Twins – Perform the Girlgroup hits of the 60s Cabaret Style (12.30)

All profits from the day after we pay our wonderful performers will go directly to supporting the animals in our care.

why not get a party together and support what we do as well as experiencing some amazing acts.

Loki’s Lodge is a registered not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the welfare of animals. Our particular focus is on finding homes for rural animals that are surrendered due to changed life circumstances. Increasingly people are moving off the land, back to smaller properties, towns and retirement villages and this means their special animals must find new homes. We take them in, assess them and find new homes with loving owners who will continue their care.

We are located on an 80 acre property one and a half hours north of Melbourne. We use Loki’s Lodge to educate the public on the plight of farmed animals. There is a societal disconnect between the abolition of animal cruelty on the one hand and the preparedness to ignore the plight of factory farmed animals we use as a food source on the other. We believe that providing experiential education raises the awareness of animal suffering and cruelty within the animal agricultural industry. Knowledge is the power to change the way our society views the welfare of farmed animals.

We are a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) entity. This means any donations are tax deductible in Australia.

Adopt an Animal

Rescuing animals is unpredictable at best, since receiving DGR statues we have been inundated with calls to rescue farmed animals including pigs, horses, ponies and dairy cows. All donations are used to support the animals in our care.

Sponsorship allows us to take even greater care of our animals; covering some cost of regular medical checks, helping fund shelters to keep them out of the cold or simple buying straw so they can get a fresh bed once, twice or even three times a week.
